Buffy: Postrach wampirów (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Buffy to szesnastolatka, która została "wybrana". Jej przeznaczeniem jest zabijanie wampirów. W swojej byłej szkole miała bardzo złą reputację, gdyż spaliła salę gimnastyczną. Teraz Buffy stara się wyjaśnić, że sala była pełna wampirów! Po przeprowadzce do Kalifornii, bohaterka razem z mama chcę rozpocząć nowe życie. W nowej szkole spotyka ekscentrycznego bibliotekarza, który wie o misji, którą ma do wykonania. Na początku człowiek ten bardzo ją przeraża, jednak gdy pokazuje jej księgę o wampirach, Buffy zaczyna mu ufać i wie, że będzie mógł jej pomóc w walce z wampirami i innymi zjawiskami.
